For your transvestite transformation, dresses can be a challenge. This is because a tgirls figure is very different from those who are born with female bodies, most notably at the hips and shoulders. And, most skirts and dresses are not made with our special needs in mind. However, there ARE transvestite shops and dressmakers that will create a dress, or skirt, for transvestites’ personal needs, but this can be costly. Thin straps at the shoulder are a fine alternative to short sleeves, as this will accomodate even the widest of shoulders. Similarly, anything with more flow will fit more comfortably than something tight and slinky which is why many male to female transformations tend to don a skirt and top rather than a one-piece, close-fitting dress. There are many good places to shop and, not surprisingly, there are many local dress shops that completely understand, and fully embrace, the transvestite transformation lifestyle; so, don’t be shy about calling some of them by phone first and testing the waters.
There are a variety of skirts (dresses) with which you can have fun playing male to female dress-up, and below you’ll find a bunch of them with a little description:

Achieving a passable transvestite transformation is probably the hardest things you’ll ever have to do, but my, it’s so rewarding! Early in our male to female transformation, we don’t sit, talk, or walk like women. And the content of our conversations is often entirely “guy.” So what can we do ? – At many-a-tranny bar, you can see a TV asking for a Budweiser, or a Sam Adams, or a large burger and fries…. punctuating it with a brusque, “Thanks.” Now, if you’re the kind of tgirl who just wants to have a little fun, try something different and go out with your she-male friends all dressed up once in a while, then that’s fine. If you happen to be a former iron worker, or college linebacker, then a few strange comments from passers by, or having your picture appear on a “funny transvestite pictures” site, probably won’t bother you much, but acting in the role of a woman takes time, practice and a great deal of confidence, something a meticulous, effective tgirl guide can help you achieve.

For a tgirl in training, relying on trial and error alone can be very costly. There are, for example, some feminization techniques that might work great for most t-girls which might, otherwise, be completely ineffective, or inappropriate, for the type of person you are.
